How to Use Dehumidifier?

The general steps to use an LGR dehumidifier

1. Place the LGR85 water restoration dehumidifier in the area where you want to reduce humidity, such as a basement or a room with high moisture levels.

2. Make sure the dehumidifier is plugged in and turned on.

3. Set the desired humidity level using the controls on the unit. The ideal humidity level for most indoor spaces is between 30% and 50%.

4.  Let the compact commercial dehumidifier run for at least 24 hours, or until the water collection bucket is full. The dehumidifier will automatically shut off when the bucket is full, so be sure to empty it regularly.

5. If your dehumidifier has a drain hose, connect it to the unit and run the hose to a nearby drain or sump pump. This will allow the unit to continuously drain water without the need to empty the collection bucket.

6. Monitor the humidity levels in the room using a hygrometer. If the humidity level remains too high, adjust the controls on the dehumidifier accordingly.

7. After use of the dehumidifier. Check the air filter on the dehumidifier periodically and clean or replace it as needed. A dirty filter can reduce the effectiveness of the unit.
