Similarities of ZETA240 Dehumidifier and GUARD120 Dehumidifier

For the improvement of modern cultivation, we have successively developed two series of dehumidifiers: ZETA and GUARD. To help customers' understanding, this article will mainly compare and analyze ZETA240 and GUARD120.

Firstly, the dehumidification capacities of the two machines are similar. Neglecting minor errors in the experiment, in a planting room with a temperature of 30℃ and a relative humidity of 80%, both the ZETA240 and GUARD120 dehumidifiers can achieve a dehumidification capacity of 240 liters of water per day.

Secondly, there are many similarities in the outlook. The casing of the ZETA240 ceiling dehumidifier is made of sheet metal, featuring a front air inlet and a rear air outlet. There is a detachable grille on both sides of the machine near the air inlet, facilitating the replacement of the filter screen. The control board of the machine is fixed on the left side of the machine body, on the same side as the drainage port. The casing of the GUARD120 ceiling dehumidifier is also made of sheet metal, and the painting technology is mature, making it resistant to high temperature and humidity and less prone to corrosion. It also adopts a design with a front air inlet and a rear air outlet, and the filter screen replacement grille is located on the side near the air inlet. On the back of the machine, multiple third-party control terminal interfaces are provided.

Overall, both machines are designed to be simple and elegant, easy to operate, and come with a long warranty, making them popular among farmers in Southeast Asia.

 

Main Differences between ZETA240 Dehumidifier and GUARD120 Dehumidifier

As a newly released dehumidifier, GUARD120 boasts a fresher design, upgraded functionality, and better user-friendliness, making it an upgraded version of ZETA240. Here is a detailed description:

Different Colors

The ZETA240 ceiling dehumidifier has a black appearance, while the GUARD120 ceiling dehumidifier features a striking and comfortable combination of white and green.

Better Performance

The performance of the GUARD dehumidifier is comparable to that of the Quest dehumidifier. Its effective operating temperature range is from 13.3°C to 35°C, fully meeting the humidity control needs during the growth and flowering stages of cannabis. Even at a low temperature of 13.3°C, the device can continue to operate without entering defrost mode, ensuring stable dehumidification under low temperature conditions. However, the ZETA dehumidifier performs less well than the GUARD device at low temperatures.

Removable Control Panel

The control panel of ZETA240 is fixed at the back of the machine. The control panel of the GUARD70 is magnetic and can be attached to any position on the body for ease of use.

More Flexible Control Methods

The GUARD120 dehumidifier is equipped with an external humidity sensor interface, enabling more precise environmental monitoring and control. The system supports Modbus communication and APP control, allowing seamless integration with third-party environmental control platforms. Each port is labeled with a sticker for instructions.

Upgraded Refrigeration System

The refrigeration system features dynamic refrigerant pressure monitoring, which provides active compressor protection under various load conditions, thereby extending the service life of the compressor.

Smarter Auto-Defrost Function
