FAQs about Greenhouse Dehumidifiers

How does the position of the dehumidifier in the planting room affect the environment?

Installing a dehumidifier in the correct position in the grow room can greatly assist the growth environment. But using a dehumidifier in the wrong place hardly produces any effect. In the wrong situation, dehumidifiers may struggle due to cold air from the air conditioner, poor spacing between dehumidifiers, insufficient space from the wall, or being too far away from plants (if the room is high).

Where is the best place to place the dehumidifier?

It depends on how many dehumidifiers you need. If only one is needed, located in the center of the room, above or next to the light is usually the best location. There are some variables that can affect placement. Strive for room height and airflow. For example, when the ceiling of a room is low, you may not be able to hang a ceiling mounted dehumidifier. In this case, we may suggest placing the dehumidifier under the table. We suggest contacting a licensed HVAC professional to ensure proper placement.

Where is the best location to increase airflow?

Place the greenhouse dehumidifier at the recommended distance away from the wall to eliminate the "blockage" of the machine. In addition, placing it in a direct flow area away from the air conditioner or heater helps with airflow.

Each dehumidifier has different wall spacing guidelines. If you plan to place it near a wall, please refer to the user manual.

What are the advantages of different potential locations?

There are multiple placement options. The decision depends on the grower of each space. Each planting room is slightly different.

Some growers prefer to put them under the table. This is completely no problem. As long as there are no obstacles to supply and return openings, they will perform well.
